Hey longtimefan,

First let me say thank you for being a member of our site and we do appreciate your support.

I have been reading your comments and posts and you have been insulting several people on this forum. Its great to hear your feedback and your entitled to voice your opinion. There are many on this forum that will argue and defend themselves but some will just stop coming by and visiting the forum because whatever they say they are going to be attacked and bashed by another member and they just don't want that confrontation when posting on this forum. Most members *I think* come to this forum to share ideas, become friends, share common goals and ideas and fantasy and gossip.

The reason for this forum, and we know there is going to be a level of drama, is for us as a studio and company to be connected with our members, its also to share ideas and thoughts and to give us feedback on certain models and scenes. We welcome the feedback if its good, bad or ugly. We realize as a company we can't satisfy ALL our members. Everyone is going to have there favorite scene and favorite models. You may like one thing while others my like something else.

Its great to voice opinions, argue about the models if they are straight or gay or whatever....its nice to hear praise from members and its great to hear the bashing as well, this just makes us better and improve our site to make us stronger which will benefit the members in the long run.

Now, if you have an issue with the gay boys that do appear on this site, and you don't care for the gay boys that we pick and appear on the site, we do understand and you are certainly entitled to your opinion regarding how you feel about watching gay boys on this site. We do our best not to hire many gay boys in general do to the nature of the site. As you go through all the scenes that are uploaded on the site, there are not that many "femme" gay boys on the site. Matter of fact the site has a very low amount of true gay boys on this site. As you go through the Broke Straight Boys episodes there are more straight guys, curious guys, bi-guys on this site compared to many other sites.

Some members enjoy watching the few gay boys we have on this site. Matter of fact we get more praise by having the gay boys on the site and many members feel its a breath of fresh air having two gay boys fuck, its better to watch, its easy to film, the models don't have any hang-ups about kissing, cumming or rimming or whatever. However, we can't hire a bunch of gay boys to appear on this site, then it wouldn't be called "Broke Straight Boys". I think this is why Mark decided to open another site called brokecollegeboys.com this gives the bi and gay boys an outlet to go to and be filmed and make money. And that site can offer gay boys kissing and rimming and doing everything you expect a gay site to be. Here we do things a bit different. We do our best to mix up the type of models we have. As you notice, our models are not perfect guys that all look the same that came from the same "mold". We hire an eclectic group of guys that appear on this site that come from all different parts of the United States and all have different backgrounds and different reason to appear on the Broke Straight Boys site. Most do come here to make quick money :001_smile:

Now if you have a personal issue with femme gay boys, and you want to keep bashing the few gay boys that are on this site, please bash me instead and please privately contact me and we can discuss this issue in a private matter. I don't know all our members that come and visit Broke Straight Boys or lurk the forum, but I'm sure there are many femme guy guys that are members of this site that pay a membership fee just like you and they really don't want to hear your opinion about how you feel about "gay femme boys".

Many of our members think or feel that because they have a membership to Broke Straight Boys, it gives them the right to banter other members, make nasty rude comments to management, make nasty rude comments to other members and assume certain things that they just don't know. That is not what your membership includes. Your membership allows you the privilege to watch gay porn that we produce. Obviously we have a lot of members that like this site because we are one of the highest rated, highest visited site and one of the more popular sites on the internet today. We didn't become this popular because we have ugly guys, or have bad videos, we have this because we have great members like yourself that enjoy this site and what it has to offer. Members are members because they like to see the awkward none fabricated scenes we offer to our members and we are a down to earth genuine studio giving you a realistic approach to amateur gay porn with first time straight, curious, coming out bi boys that are discovering there sexuality for the very first time while be motivated by the almighty dollar! Okay...its also about our great customer service and we do have an outstanding team and we do spoil our members with lots of updates and we offer something that other studios just don't do in this day and age.

I ask you to please chill out, stop the bashing and the assuming that everyone is a femme gay boy. Your a cool guy, you seem to be a nice fellow, I have nothing against you as a person or a member, I just ask you to please consider your fellow members.

Thank you!
David

Well said!
I almost stopped posting, reading and watching the site because I was attacked for voicing my opinion.
Everything does not need to be negative or abusive. I know I have posted a few negative things in the past and gone a little too far but I would never attack someone.

We have a saying over here "Never let the bastards drag you down" and I stick to that moto.

David, you sometimes just knock the breath out of me man. The guy you were addressing can feel honored by your balanced assessment of his behavior and dignified by your very respectful request that he moderate his tone. Thanks for getting it just right.

Bravo David!!

That was so well said. While you directed it at one person it could just as easily apply to all of us. And yes, myself included. I don't claim to be perfect or above the fray. I have put up posts that I have later regretted. For many of the reasons you state above.

While we all have freedom of speech and are allowed to voice our opinions, it should still be done in at least a reasonably respectful tone. The line in the sand should be drawn at the name calling of other members. Or extremely derogatory remarks about some of the models. We may feel that a particular model's performance was not good at all. And we have the right to say as much. But again the extreme name calling is something that should be out of bounds. There has to be some civility and decorum in here.

If there is a no holds barred free-for-all of derogatory adjectives directed at members and models then we will lose people in droves. And that's not something that either management or we members want to see. It hurts all of us if good people come in here and see nasty language and leave. So please, let's keep it civil. We're gentlemen...and gentleladies. :001_smile:

This doesn't mean that we have to agree on everything, or that dissenters from majority opinions must hold back their contrary views. This place would be as much fun as watching ice melt if we all had the same opinions and stifled any opposing opinions. When we disagree with each other let's do it respectfully. If we post a negative critique of a model let's avoid the provocative name calling. Does that sound reasonable?

Occasionally some of us must be reminded that Broke Straight Boys exist for the benefit of all its viewers and that no matter what our personal issues are we should always show common courtesy to one another. Unfortunately modern devices such as the internet makes communication between people impersonal and less human as we can rant and rav with no thought of the other people on the other side. Some people feel that they can do whatever they please whenever they feel because they are belind a monitor and not in front of a person.

Hi slim, my name is Steve (longtimefan) and I would be pleased if you wanted to call me by my name. Of course, you are in no way obligated to do so. You can continue to refer to me as "that guy". I just wanted you to know how eloquent I thought your post is and if you can see past my latest indiscretions, I'd like to be friends with you.

David, slim is right. I am honored by your assessment of my behavior and I am in no way offended or saddened by your comments. You sir, are a good man.

David

David,

Boy, when you hit the nail on the head, boy you really hit it. I thought it was very well thought out true assessment with honorable intentions. I think it spoke to everyone not just one person.

In fact, this was so well done, perhaps every 3-4 months this can be brought back to the front so than all new members can see this and help them out as they get into the world of Posting. Maybe those who have been too shy to post will now think differently.

Thanks again David.

Live Long and Prosper,

Vicekid

Hey David,

Thank you for taking the time to explain to me the true reasons for the existence of this forum. You did so in such an eloquent and compassionate manner that I started to cry just a bit while I was reading it. That's why it has taken me so long to respond. I had to put myself together.

I will not try to defend my rude behavior. I agree that some of my words were truley insulting to some of the models and members, and I am very sorry for hurting anyones feelings.

Because my name is in the title of this thread, if you don't mind, there is one thing that I would like to defend. That is the misconception that I don't like femme gay boys. I do not have anything against gay boys and men, femme or straight acting. There are quite a few boys on the site that are gay and femme that I adore, one being cousin Michael. I loved the latest video with him and Mike and Austin. It was hot. I just don't care for guys with the attitude that they are the experienced, worldly gay guy with all the right moves and then put out lack luster performances. (Wow, I guess I just should have said that initially. It would have kept me out of so much trouble, but then you wouldn't have had quite the forum ride that you said you enjoyed.)

Early on in Logans career, you paired him up with a gay guy who had the attitude of which I just spoke. I can't remember the name of the guy or the date without going back through the episodes, but I do remember that it seemed to piss off Logan because he had to have sex with that guy. He didn't really enjoy himself until he started getting a little rough, putting his hand on the back of the gay boy's head and forcing his cock down the gay boy's throat. (That was pretty hot by the way.) That boy was not able to handle it at all. The rough, manly man sex was too much for him and in my opinion, because of his inability to perform up to Logan's standards, he ruined the movie. His performance was quite the boner kill.

Our country has adopted the rule that all of our children are special and everyone deserves a trophy. Winning isn't the goal, just playing the best you can is what's important. I was raised differently, during a time when spankings were common, there were winners and losers, and there was motivation to make yourself better so maybe next time you could win that trophy, or get an A on that paper. The kids today don't seem to have that motivation to improve themselves, thinking that whatever they do is really good and satisfying when, in fact, there are so many other people doing what they just did ten times better than them. That's how I felt with the Corey and CJ video. It wasn't Corey's feminine behavior. It was his poor performance.

I will not use harsh language any more on the forum, nor will I insult anyone publicly. Any of those comments I may have at any given moment will be directed at you privately and in a constructive manner. I really do love this sight and this forum and I look forward to playing on it for many years.

Again, thank you David.

Steve

I thought it was tacky that this was handled in a public way and a public thread rather than than in a PM. So tacky that I've cancelled my membership and will no longer be coming to this forum in my remaining time.

To try and comment on all the good and bad things brought out on this thread would take all night so I wont do that outside of saying Thank You David as always for your wise and loving leadership. After seeing what looked like the forum going to hell this past week from all the negative waves that have been floating around on various threads. I was pleased that most of the comments here were at least positive and show hope that we may again find a way to get along.

With that in mind I call your attention to the thread by Smoore regarding becoming a porn star. If you have not read it there was some rather pointed discussion at which time I chose to add my opinion to the mix. In my defense this week marks a very sad anniversary for me so my emotions are a bit on edge which may have caused me to fire both barrels. I wish to apologize to the forum in general for me shooting my mouth off. I try to keep a level head on the things I say here and will often let a comment sit on my computer all night before sending it just to make sure I feel the same way in the morning. If so I send it if not I throw it away and you would be surprised how many meet that fate. Unfortunately last night was an example of what happens when I don't do that.

Jon, are you in your subtle way calling me a bastard?

No it wasn't Steven, it's just a Brit saying if someone or something pisses you off. Incidentally, how was Slim and the rest of the forum supposed to know your name was Steven when you never mentioned it before - doh..
