A Review of this Site for those lurkers who have yet to join

I must admit I have joined many porn sites only to be disappointed. There is one that gets a lot of good marks for having great twinks, but the videos are rather poor quality and you have to buy credits to look at their archives. They are probably well known here, but I won't name them.

Then you have the other Russian type sites where they remove all their content only to bring it back as updated material. I have seen a certain Mikey who should be 35 by now. These sites remain popular and expensive, even though they offer nothing new.

The American sites are a mixed bag of quality. You get the usual DVD scenes now transferred to video and called new. Some of their stuff is OK, and there are other good sites out there.

But none of them can really hold a candle to Broke Straight Boys I have been at this site before and will turn my membership into an ongoing one. Here are the reasons why this site is among the best:

1. There are a lot of videos.

Let's face it, there are some sites out there that show all they got on their preview pages. When you join for $40, you feel really ripped off. That is not the case here as they update every few days with something new. The videos are of really good quality (even the older ones) and that is a good thing.

2. The boys are very hot.

I have been to some 'twink' sites that show older men who are way beyond what we call twinks. I have seen some other sites with some of the ugliest models out there. But Broke Straight Boys has been consistent with having the hottest boys out there. We all have our favorites but we also have a top ten list of must have videos from this site. From Sam to Paul to Carter, this place has the best models. I like the boy next door types and this place is loaded with them. And don't forget to check out the stuff shot a few years ago. Some of those boys only appeared on one or two videos. But what an impression they made.

3. Natural body hair.

I hate shaving and think it is a huge turn-off. I get so upset when an adorable model has decided to go bare down there. I never understood this but there is nothing I can do as it is a personal choice for most. However, Broke Straight Boys seems to get the boys who are natural and don't shave. They have a bit of butt crack hair with many having a thick bush of pubes waiting for someone to stroke them. Sure, they have a few shavers, but not like some sites which seem to only look for them or force their models to take off all the hair.

4. Great price.

Some sites can get so damn expensive but Broke Straight Boys is a great value. You get so many videos plus new ones every two days (some even sooner). You get a Behind the Scenes area where the intimate interviews are kept and many other nice things like this forum. All for a very low price with many discounts.

5. Customer service.

You can email or post something you like or don't like and they respond to you instead of giving you an automatic response. The people here are great and the models even come out to the forum a few times.

6. Did I mention the boys are all hotties?

7. Did I mention the pubes again?

If there is a downside, it is the bonus sites and content. But I never pay attention to them so I don't care. I buy the site for the site and not anything else. If I like a site I stay, and bonus content be damned. (I have been to sites where the bonus content is the best part. That is not speaking well of those sites.)

Overall, this is a wonderful site to drop a few shekels in to enjoy. They do have overhead and those boys like to use their money for rent. Just think of all the value you are getting as well as quality.

I also want everyone to know I am not a shill for this site but a member. I also hope this stays where all the non-members can read it as it is directed toward them.

Most everything you say here I wholeheartedly endorse. But posting it here is nice, but preaching to the choir. If you belong to any gay porn blogs or gay blogs in general, it would be nice to post these sentiments on them.

Thanks for Iggy for posting what so many of us have been thinking for a long time. This site really is something special. There are some not-so-great sites out there that charge more, treat their models poorly and offer far less in content. Broke Straight Boys has always seemed to me to be one of the classiest sites around. Not that there aren't any other good ones out there. There are a few. But again, when you compare the membership experience here, the resource of the forum, the depth of the archives and material to choose from, and then the value for the money...Broke Straight Boys stands alone in my opinion.

I did post it on the open forum but it was moved here. I don't know if they have access to this to read and just not reply.

I do think there are a few other good sites out there but they are few and far between. Broke Straight Boys knows what they are doing and deliver the goods.

I know that non members of the forum can still read any of the posts. They just can't comment on them or view any of the pictures or videos that might be posted to a thread.

Are you speaking of something totally different whereby non members of the site can read the forum and all the posts? If so, I would find that troubling.

I became a paying subscriber to the site first to be able to view the videos. As a subscriber I could get on the forums and read the content but not respond as I have stated before. When a topic caught my attention, I merely registered to become a member of the forum. It's all included in the initial subscription

I find the idea of non members being able to read are posts troubling as well as I assumed it was private that only members could see that's why I'm so open. Dan x

I believe it's still true that only paying members can view the forum.

I am going to find out as I have to let it expire this month (I am switching cards and it is easier this way). I will then come back on and tell all what I found out!

PS: I contacted customer service and he was having a problem doing so. I can at least figure out what the problem is if it was the card itself or the system.
