Peter mentioned this episode while discussing his forum buddy Aquarius who is no longer here, at least not under that name.

When this episode was released, some accused David of filming a "rape scene", which got into a whole controversy as this was when we discovered that David had been relieved of his duties as director here. Eventually David explained that both models wanted to do a rough sex scene, but this is it from a land far away and a time long ago from the days of the futon............

Wow, never saw this scene before, thank you for introducing me to it, as it was very hot.

I'm confused though. This video itself led to the dismissal of a director? If both models wanted a rough scene, then they were playing it up and all, so I don't get why the director was fired or why the controversy happened.

This scene wasn't the reason for the Directors dismissal, just released around the same time...

Peter is right Distinctive. But there was a lot of negativity on the thread and comments were made that implied that this scene showed why a change had to be made. I felt that David got "thrown under the bus" when this scene was first released by both members and management.

Maybe we have grown harder with age. My sound was Very Bad but I didn't hear him say NO. Read it all. Don't know what all the fuss was about?
I liked it. And I Loved The Simple SET...Maybe someone can explain the the Directors dismissal later.
Must say The Forum was allot more active back then...

I just copied that thread and sent it to Distinctive, but as long as Johnny brings it up, this was the long controversial thread that ensued after this scene was released.

I never understood the whole rape whenever Sean said he could not take or change position they did. My only problem was Santos who was told to go slow and continued pouding him. I would have flipped them to show Santos how it felt.

The whole rape comparison is silly and really offensive to those who have been subject to that brutality. (And if any one has ever seen so-called "rape fetish videos" this is nothing like them at all.) Also if David said that the models both agreed to have a rough sex scene, then it was a mutual decision. I think Sean's moans and groans seem worse than they were because his voice is so deep and gravelly. Much ado about nothing really.

Santos and Sean was not a rape scene but rather a guy having a hard time taking an aggressive macho-fucker. This was Sean's second bottoming scene as he did not groan nearly as much in his first fuck-scene with Braeden. This scene, however, did inspire an impromptu fuck-party at our frathouse. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Mikey -I was not going to read all 16 pages of that thread, but was determined to read up to the point where David posted. Fortunately for me, it was page 3. I must say that the various posts prior to David's for the most part were beyond the pale in hyperbole.

And as you know, mikey, I am not a particular fan of David's especially because his his verbosity. But his verbose post in this instant was to the point and explained the entire situation as it went down. I did read your post which followed David's by a few and agree with your assessment.

If people continued to complain after David's post, which I presume they did since there are 13 more pages to that thread, then they were looking for a scapegoat because they didn't want to accept that Sean was an active decision maker in the scene, or to assuage their own guilt for watching it. Or they just didn't believe David was being truthful.

But on another topic, David brought up the topic of keeping fresh a site that is relatively vanilla (my word not his). And we hear that today, and we heard it with Clay. If you are going to have a site that basically does the same things all the time (solo, oral, anal) the only variables are the people involved; namely the director and the models. And I believe finding both these days who can bring continuing vitality and renewal to a site such as Broke Straight Boys is much harder than it was just a few years ago.
